Hilton Dickens, 2005, New Zealand Postal Operators Handbook-Catalogue 1998-2005. Sectional, as Campbell Paterson.

A copy is in the RPSNZ Library. Not many were printed however. Covers a whole bunch of the private post operators.

Des Hurley wrote an article for The New Zealand Stamp Collector v67/2 p70-1 (1987) entitled "Forgeries of the 1931 NZ Airmail issues". I don't have the volume right here but will find it later.

And I've only just realised that the two "stamps" illustrated above are different - the top one has the word "FARE" below the illustration of the ferry.

Does anyone have a view on the real scarcity of these, and now there are two types, which is scarcer?
