If you look at the 9d that Iain (Craven) sold recently, you can just see part of the faulty Y. I purchased this (perf faults) 5/- from Iain some time back. Clearly a Y for mine. http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj304/ParadisePete/stamboards/scan0011-3.jpg This, the 9d Iain recently sold and the ½d...

There are voices out there that have an alternative opinion about the Holocaust too. They are as looney as the recent idiots you put up as proponents of a different view of the dollar. In any event, the rise of the USD continues. Gold has fallen to US$1360.20 an ounce (from US$1,475 at the start of ...

Mark, go through the pages. The MM of the JY 17 cancel is always faulty (on the 3 stamps I have actually seen with at least part of the MM in the cancel). I determined it to be JY by a process of elimination (using nice clear Victorian stamps with the CTO cancel). I was able to eliminate any MM exce...

Leaving Hawthorn in it's rightful place...on top of the ladder (with percentage boosting games against Gold Coast and Melbourne the next 2 weeks). :D

Clive, the stamp appears to have been canceled twice, with the first cancel not being clear enough? I very much doubt it is the JY date, they all seem to be very crisp and clean cancels.

King Dollar is back. The USD has been strengthening, on the back of a reasonably strong recovery in the US economy and an apparent feeling by the Fed that QE can now be wound back.
