I had flown into Houston the evening of the 10th., and was waiting for a friend to pick me up to go to work from the hotel lobby early on the 11th. I was watching it live on television very scary! it was also interesting to see the immediate change in ordinary Americans that took place that day.

The numbered circle appears to be in the same colour ink as the 'UNCLAIMED' hand stamp, and the numbered circle is initialed, could it be the person or office who decided it was unclaimable?

Now that I have posted an example of a WW2 label, I have to point out that a thread already exists for WW1 charity labels. Possibly the WW1 items here should be moved to that thread and this one renamed as 'WW2 Charity Labels'?
