Actually RobynP - there wer boxes of leaflets next to thr stampboards stand which I really only noticed on the last day. Some good stuff there, like tips on what to do if you inherit a collection, introduction to exhibitng stamps, stamps for kids, etc...!

Are the CVs in Len Jury to be "taken with a pinch of salt", like with those of, say, Stanley Gibbons? I mean, are the prices quoted closer to a CV as such or more regular retail prices of (decent quality) stamps?

Thinking more in regards to the issues from post-2000s.

Glen - what do you reckon a signed one of those show packs would be? (Signed by both stamp designer and horse photographer, on the left page, bottom lower left corner?)

The guy before me got the stamp sheet itself signed. I just didn't feel like writing on stamps :roll:

There is what is commonly known as the "stamp bug" which I develop upon seeing a nice looking stamp at a dealers. Unfortunately, the only cure available at this stage involves spending more money than you first intended before exiting with the newly purchased products! :D
