London 2015 is a FEPA exhibition, thus limited to exhibitors from European countries. Before London 2015, there are some other world exhibitions in Brazil, Thailandia and Singapore. The biggest one will be surely in New York in 2016.

I do not know any serious reference online. Italian philatelic literature has often presented interesting studies on this subject. Ballabio work is good, but you cannot forget Vaccari one (very hard to find and selling for 400 euros) or even Bolaffi tables, which were published in the 1950s.

I don't like what becomes a business fad: many new philatelists leave our hobby due to the consequences of these trends.

The arrival postmark on the back side is Piacenza (Caorso is 10 Km far form Piacenza). Could you see where the letter was posted? In 1863 Piacenza had been part of the Kingdom (first of Sardinia and then of Italy) for about four years.

It is not a Sardinian letter: it is an Italian letter (the Kingdom of Italy was born in 1861). I cannot understand where the letter was mailed: it might help to discover the role of the Garibaldi seal.

Hi Filipo,
In Italy cinderellas are not so collected: I know a catalogue exists but I do not have it. They are cancelled by a mark which is not postal. Unfortunately I cannot tell you more.

OK .... so now we know what I have I guess the next logical question is does it have any value ??? Does anyone want it ??? I'd just as soon trade it for a stamp I don't have if someone has an interest in it. jch In Italy cinderellas and revenues are not very sought after, unfortunately. Cheers Luca

It is a railroad ticket for a journey from "Genova Piazza Principe" to "Milano Centrale" via Voghera and Pavia. The "stamp" represents Italy and it is cancelled by a mark: I can read "comitato ippico", that is, I think, a committee devoted to horses and horse ...
