Rather than risk further damage, I think I will take Maszki's advice and cut up a few clear plastic cases to house the blocks.

The Kangaroo and Merino Sheep from the Fauna series.
both had the Ash, McCracken and Authority imprints and ????

The colour has'nt chaged but there may be a slight variation in the shading. |

| The stamp on the right has the 'apostophe' flaw. After the 'e' of king George. The stamp on the left seems to have ghosting around the horses head and extra mist around the king.
