Hmmm ok ok I have to admit that it is a little odd, no first 2 digits and definatly out of line so appears to have meant to have the other 2 digits there. To be honest if i was going to forge something i could have done better when I was in high school than that if indeed it is forged. Hmmmm actualy...

I do wish we had someone of his quality here in Australia as the line up w...

That makes sence and explains the lack of a cancelation on the stamp (if indeed one should call it a stamp). It being canceled simply by the fact that it has been filled in.

Oh come on Cephus what absolute nonsence. Tell me how exactly would you react to a reply like this and yes I QUOTE " Your stamps are virtually worthless. Granted, I haven't looked at them and I'm not going to. I'm not going to look up the catalog values." If you poke someone in the eye wit...

An interesting thread, as fate would have it, it was 1 year ago today that I posted my very first post on this forum (7 may 2011) and my last post was the 30th of May 2011. I didn’t last long and basically I walked away. My Lovely Wife calls stamp collectors and I quote “ dirty old stamp lickers” bu...

Arrrr yes I did try the google translate but didn't think to put the translation back in for a second run.

Nice link by the way thankyou. Shame this one is not still on a note like the example as that would have provided some interesting history.

Hmmmm yes that's rather possible although if thats the case the 2 is a little low and not in line with the rest of the text. I guess quite likely though if they used one of those date stamps that you set the date on each day. Also there appears to be a number blanked out after the second "8&quo...

So I assume that the ones above are of a similar nature ???

All cut outs from post cards and stationary and the like ??
I guess the other question is are they worth keeping or should I let my little boy use them for craft?
