i had posted this last night.. but I put it on the wrong forum so i requested it be moved here or deleted.. and it looked like someone deleted it.... so I figured I'd repost this while I was wide awake and know what I'm asking for :)

I'm needing some assistance in trying to identify four of these stamps below:

Image

I'm pretty sure that the Scott listing I have listed the upper right stamp in this as 664... but, it listed the original as brown-grey (even though it appears more pure brown than anything with a grey tint on it... and it's like this on both copies of that shade that I have, so I don't think it's fading ink or anything of the sort)

The other stamps that are listed in Scott's are 641 and 642 with variant colors... including "brown", which was why my doubts started in the first place.... but both are listed as being smaller, 9mm or 11 mm height on the design - and yes, I know Scott's notoriously bad at their measurement numbers, but they're all definitely the size of 664.

Am I right in thinking Scott just doesn't list the variants of this stamp in their catalog, and that's what these are? Or are these other scott catalog numbers that I'm just getting too much addled brain in my middle age to find? (or it could be I'm so new in getting back into the hobby, I've forgotten how Scott works with variant ink colors)

And does anyone know the catalog number for the stand alone on the right? I've got three of these, and I'm stuck trying to figure out which SC# these are.

The upper left 5c stamp with imprint must be Scott #641 or #642.

The other 3 without imprint must be Scott #664 or #664a. All four varieties catalog 20 cents used. The purple stamp is #RA27, a postal tax stamp.

Since they're Spanish stamps, doug, I'll just say "Gracias" :) on the postal tax one. I didn't even think of that as a possibility (Told ya, I'm getting rather addled in my "old" middle age *Grin*).
