How much does a single VFU copy of the Canada Grizzly bear 8$ or 10$ Blue whale cost??







I know on cover they go for above FV and Glen even had a few blocks of four VFU at around FV.

I mean how much can one pay for to buy a single of these off paper???

Collecting Canada (just started) and CHESS on stamps.!!!!!!

The $10 Whale is truly MASSIVE, and the $5 and $8 are each about 4 times the size of a large Commemorative.

And as all are used on parcels or overseas mail they each are prone to damage due to that huge size and pale colours so they scuff and spoil easily too.

I earlier today listed up covers with these I got recently, and many prefer them postally used in period.

Luckily these are all in perfect condition - if buying singles etc on ebay many will "forget" to mention bends or creases etc.

Glen has beaten me to it, but yes, Glen has over $33 in face on cover for sale at $40 - well worth it. You will get the $5, $8 and $10. Commercially / postally used on cover - they dont get much better than that!

Truly a massive stamp ($10) and the whole series are wonderful stamps to own.

I don't specifically collect Canada, but I do collect high value stamps as such and have these in both off paper as well as on cover and would recommend that any collector get some as they are just beautiful stamps.

With respect to price, expect to pay close to face for very fine used examples.

Thank you. I had bid on an VFU copy of Grizzly 8$.... The image in first post was from ebay. I won it for 1.5 USD including shipping. Once I receive the stamp I shall check for the backside.

Listing it in ebay.in alone proved costly for the seller. The bidding started at around 1 USD and I bid early and won it for the same amount. I had bid upto 6 USD but there was no one to push me upto that amount.
