I dont want to waste anyones time just looking for an answer if anyone has it. I'm an absolute stamp rookie so I always think I have something.

Is the 1890 scott#219 candleflame variety printing error worth anything? Found one today this I'm actually sure of as you can clearly see a flame looking wipe mark on the bottom of the number one on both sides of the stamp. I will post picture soon as I get a good camera so I stop posting horrible pictures.

The swedish tiger website pointed this out in there what to look for section on the stamp or I would of never even thought of looking for it.So if anyone knows anything about the candleflame variety how rare it is or isn't and a possible value I would be happy to hear it.

I will post a picture soon as I locate my good one thanks again to everyone willing to help the stamp collecting helpless thanks Jim.

We're an image-centric board here. To increase your chance of getting an answer, 1) post an image and 2) clerly define/describe the issue you are talking about. I guarantee that most will have no idea what this "candle flame variety" is so they'll just move on...unless you SHOW them and piqué their interest.
