(2piastres2 on 50c peace and commerce)
opt in black.

It has a s.o.n. "La Canee" Crete 1900.

This is 2 years before France had a PO in Crete?

Where would I best album locate this item?
Under Crete?
or under French PO in Turkish Empire?

Perhaps you might mean "Identifying a circa 1900 French area postmark" or something like that?

ACCURATE and detailed and concise headings for new threads are the number one way to ensure members get an answer.

Rod, it is up to you, if you have a separate section for French PO in Crete it would fit in there as a precursor.
