RULES

1) This thread is where you can post stamp ephemera that is specifically targeted to saving endangered species, NOT extinct species...so no dinosaurs please.

2) There are many beautiful creatures but this is not where you post them. Post ONLY items that picture ENDANGERED species AND are issued for the purpose of raising funds and/or awareness of their plight.

3) All endangered critters qualify...not just the cute Panda bear. Your ugly spiders and snakes can also be here IF they qualify under rule 1 & 2.

4) Stamps may be postal, semi-postal, revenue, Cinderellas...as long as they fulfill rule 1 & 2.

I don't really think many of these are really endangered, but the issue was called : Rescue to Release.

I just listed them on feebay.

Here a Dutch sheet titled Bedreigde Dieren (means: endangered animals) issued by TNT Post in 2006.
"When you tear out a stamp from the sheet it is like the rain forest is missing an animal" said TNT Post. It's a shame these stamps are scarcely used.
