I am having trouble creating an avatar. I have followed the instructions given in "introduce yourself" and keep getting error messages. Help! I wanted to post USA Sc#1429 the WILDLIFE CONSERVATION ISSUE with the mother polar bear and cub. I keep getting error
messages saying "invalid URL" or "URL too long. Help!!!

koalas, I know you have trouble with English but try adding an avatar by following the instructions in the link below, it is easy.

I have a picture/avatar (the one I have now). But I don't recollect choosing that image. In fact, I don't have that image on my computer at all. Is it possible for the site to put a random picture on?

The strange thing is...the image/avatar is of a stamp that I have...and it's actually not common...I find that odd... any explanations?

Many of our new members do not select their own avatars. When that happens the 'Avatar Fairy' selects one for them. If at all possible the image chosen will reflect the member's interest, location etc in some way.

All members are free to to use an avatar of their own choosing (within the rules).
