Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and I know this sounds dumb, but how do I reply to a response to my post via email?

I posted a bit about myself and had a reply yet (because I received an email saying so) but I can't find the reply anywhere and have no idea how to respond.

Have searched posts for a bit of advise but can't find anything related to replying to emails.

Am very new to this, I haven't been a forum member for about 10 years - obviously!!

There are 2 kinds of emails you can receive from Stampboards.

One is from a member ... in which case, reply directly as to any other email.

The other is the one Glen mentioned. It's a notification that someone has posted on a thread you are watching. You can't reply to the thread via an email. You have to go to the thread and post there. The email will have links that take you to the thread, as Glen said. Or log onto Stampboards and look for it using the New Posts function.

See, you found this thread again. :D

Bulletin boards are really wierd at first ... all of them.

But bumble about for a bit and you will get the hang of it soon enough.
