I have made some posts to photo bucket with incorrect identification notes.

Noting that images must never be deleted. Can I edit these notes without creating a problem?

Yes, you can. Changing the notes does not effect the link to the image.

Regarding your signature its daylight saving that messes me up, but seeing Stampboards operates on daylight saving time [for Australia] all year round I might have to convert to that for the whole year!!
I will put your advice to good use.

Rovert .. thanks for reading the Rules - yes never DELETE anything from photobucket that you have posted up here - NEVER.

Or move to sub albums etc as the link differs then and the page comes up blank.

If you wanna change the image or edit the image, You can delete that particular image or images and replace with the new one in the same name and the same album where you deleted the image or images.
