Hi Ian, thanks for looking.

Just tried this for myself. I see what you mean, the zoom only allows vertical scrolling. However, the entire width of the single page fits within the browser window and adjusts automatically to the size of the window - I resized my browser window to different sizes and the width of the page changed accordingly, so I see no problem with this. My screen res is 1024 by 768 though I don't think this matters.

1. As far as I can see one can only see a double-page spread (though that may be what you meant by 'single page'

2. The double page doesn't fit in my browser and doesn't adjust automatically - using Firefox on Mac

Ian,

I'm on Firefox on Mac and it works fine. You initially see the double page spread, and if you zoom in using the magnifier tool, you can then see just a single page (just one half of the double page spread) and it fits fine!

Hope you can solve this, as it seems to be fine for me!

Matt,

OK now, but when I first look it centred on the centre-fold, to give me a 'page' consisting of parts of 2 pages.
Ian

Matt,
Many thanks for organising this - very kind of you to offer this to Stampboards members. Found some very nice articles.

Would still like a way of saving the articles so I could refer to it later on, rather than having to go back to the actual magazine. Hope you will give some thought to this.

Colin,

Thanks for the comments.

We understand that nobody would want to purchase something they have never seen, and that digital versions are not for everyone. But I am sure you understand the difficulties in reaching a world wide audience through a print edition. It is for this reason that we have introduced the digital format and not to disadvantage our readers in any way.

I have now arranged for board users to view a sample copy of the magazine online. So to get a taster for the mag, follow the simple instructions below:

Go to: http://www.pocketmags.com
Log in, using
username: stampcoinproduction@warnersgroup.co.uk
password: stampcoin
Click on 'my magazines' and take a look at the issue of Stamp & Coin Mart that's been added for you.

Any questions please ask, but be assured I'm very receptive to your comments!

Thanks,
Matt

Matt .. feel free to start a new thread with that offer if you wish. It will get far more attention.

Hi Matt,

I know this magazine well and buy most issues from WH Smith.

I like the online presentation - it's very clear and I can read all the details of the articles and the ads. I found the navigation and enlarging very easy to use with Chrome.

Thanks for sharing this. :D

I buy both Stamp magazine and Gibbons Stamp Monthly. While I prefer the articles in the former, GSM is excellent for maintaining listings for new issues. However, I do find SG's policy on miniature sheets a bit irritating at times, as I collect used singles from miniature sheets (especially as in Italy they are often used in this way)
