Recently I bought some Germany, Reich, MNH stamps from this guy in Poland, Piotr Gruszczynski aka panirenai (just an observation, my grandfather is from Poland so I have nothing particular against Poles and Poland as country, actually I like it).
It took them almost a month to arrive and seller, even tough he left positives didn't answer to my first message. So now when I received them I found it appropriate to send him another message to check out what feedback should I leave for him
Any way here are the messages (two consecutive one because messages at e-bay are limited re. number of characters). Please tell me your opinion on this, money involved is not big deal, about 20 bucks.
"Dear Mr Piotor,
I finally received stamps today and I'm not satisfied at all. Let me explain everything I found wrong in this little transaction.
First of all I sent you a message re. non recipe of stamps at 29.03.2012 since I paid for them at 14.03.2012 and we are both in Europe and 16 days passed and no stamps were received. I sent message to check out if you dispatched shipment. I received no answer to this date.
Today I finally received stamps, so it took them 25 days to arrive, tx God I don't live in Australia, it would probably take them 2 months!
When I checked cancel date on cover I got surprised, it was sen on 22.03.2012, exactly 9 days after I paid, talking about snail mail for sure!
Other surprise was fact that you didn't bother to use stamps on cover instead of ugly and useless machine cancel, it is common sense and politeness to use stamps on letters to stamp collectors. Also I paid you 4 $ US for postage when it turns out that real postage is 2.40 Polish Zlot.
So lets continue...
Real postage expenses were cca 0.8 $ US!!! It wouldn't bother me at all if you manged to pack them properly, but instead of cardboard or few small stockcards you simply put bunch of mint stamps in sheet of double folded paper! It was pure luck that they mostly got undamaged.
Beside, some of them were not MNH even advertised as such, but since there were quite few lots with lot of stamps I find it acceptable if there wasn't for all of other mentioned problems.
So, please advice me how should I react, giving you 9 negatives would be quite normal thing from perspective of many collectors I know!?
I hope you'll have an prompt answer on this messages and to make myself clear I'm not after refund, even tough I thought about raising non recipe case with ebay and give you a negative just as warning. This kind of business practice will not bring you very far.
