The New Zealand Society of Great Britain celebrates its 60th Anniversary this year with a programme of events scheduled for September to coincide with Autumn Stampex (September 26th-29th).

Competitive and invited displays of New Zealand stamps and postal history will occupy the 'Village Green' area of the Building Design Centre in Islington. Some of the material will not have been seen previously in the UK.

We will be celebrating together with two other groups:-

The British Society of Australian Philately (BSAP)
The Pacific Islands Study Circle (PISC)

both are celebrating anniversaries of their own.

As part of the New Zealand Society of Great Britain's 60th Anniversary celebrations we are collaborating with BSAP and PISC to produce a booklet featuring outstanding items of philatelic interest from the three areas. This will be entitled:-

GEMS OF AUSTRALASIAN PHILATELY

The book will be launched officially at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London on Wednesday 26th September 2012.

In addition three special lectures will be held during the same week as Stampex.

To be held at the Royal Philatelic Society, London.
Display available from 13:00. Talk at 17:00.
Members of the New Zealand Society of GB do not need to be members of the RPSL to attend this event but must register with the RPSL Office in advance (Tel:- 020 7486 1044, e-mail:- secretary@rpsl.org.uk).

Not long to Autumn Stampex.

A lot of NZ and Australasia entries in the competitive part of the exhibition and at least 33 frames of non-competitive "gold medal" New Zealand material on display.

If you are interested in NZ, Australia or the Pacific Islands and are within reach of London this will be some of the best material on display for several years.
