Just to let people in the Brisbane area, or visiting Brisbane on the Sunday 26th June, the Philatelic Society of Queensland will be holding their "day with a difference" or Open day.
It is being held at the Wynnum Golf club which is bayside, South of the Brisbane river from 9.00am until 3.30pm.
The location is close to Wynnum Central station and the golf club provide a good range of refreshments for sale during the day.
Three dealers will be attending, plus a number of clubs with their circuit books. In addition there will be a 1 frame exhibition (judged by accredited State level judges) and a five page "open" competition judged by popular vote. For anyone interested in exhibiting this is a great way to have your first attempt.
There will be raffles, lucky door prizes and a sale by tender to conclude the afternoon.
