Good Morning people.
Here looking thru items I have while waiting for this Tropical Storm to come thru Florida.
But hey...have to find something to do before boredom sets in.

Anyway...

Recently I was given a box of items that I've been going thru.
I found this 1880 National Bank of Brooklyn check with a stamp on it.
I have yet to identify this stamp. Can anyone identify it. I know it says
US-Inter-Rev 2 Cents, but any other info on this?

The stamp is Scott R152, 1875-78 Internal Revenue issue, thus a tax stamp. Others surely have much more information.
