This stamp on an LP label, pressed in Korea 1976.

I don't think it's a copyright stamp, but some other sort of tax. Can someone decipher Korean?

Thanks
Adam.

Hello there, Adam. I can help with the translation here....it's actually just what you thought.

First, Korean reads left to right, like English, so the stamp should be rotated anti-clockwise in order to read it. The top, (bigger font)

๋‚ฉ์„ธํ•„์ฆ์ง€ means Tax Paid Certificate

the bottom line you will hear people chant at Korean football or baseball games

๋Œ€ ํ•œ ๋ฏผ ๊ตญ

Dae Han Min Guk which means 'Korea'

and the last bit ์ • ๋ถ€ means 'government'

The Korean alphabet, known as Hangeul, is one of the greatest achievements in linguistic science. 600 years after its creation, NO system has ever bettered it! It is linguistically awesome! Anyone can learn the alphabet in a matter of hours, and it is phonetic, so it can be used to describe any sound.
