You may have to be more specific.......

Are you looking for SCOTT, MINKUS, KaBe, Lindner, Lighthouse, Schaubek, or a lesser known brand? Are you looking for 2-post, 3-ring, 14 ring, 18 ring, 22 ring?????? Are you looking for hingeless or regular?

Most of the people reading this post won't be familiar with North American style albums, so a bit more detail will go a long way to helping you get what you need.

OK, now we're talkin'!! :wink:

I'm pretty sure that will make the whole process much easier for you and for the others who read this. I'm not in the office right now, but when I'm back to work I may have some pages that could help.

Hopefully, in the meantime, others will be able to offer some assistance.

BOB = Back of Book

These are the stamps located at the back of the catalogue.

Washing stamps is not considered a "chore" and a good reply isn't "neither is talking on the phone to your mother"

OK, I know Back of Book, but that still doesn't help.

There's nothing at the back of my catalogues except an index :? :? :? :shock:

B-O-B is a reference used for stamps that are not regular postage.......airmail, postage due, special delivery, war tax, registered, some revenues, etc......

In North America, the non-postage stamps are always located at the back of the catalogue, where as, with many other country catalogues, they are simply left in the body of the catalogue in the chronological order in which they were issued.

Hope that helps!

Glad I could help explain it. We often forget that the terms are very different in other regions of the collecting world.

Johnboy is looking for the album pages that are set up the same way, with all the B-O-B items in one single group of pages, from earliest to modern. SCOTT albums are 2 post, with pages approx. 10 inch x 12 inch in size. If anyone has purchased an old estate collection with US SCOTT album, and you don't want the back end pages, let him know.

Hi. I have The American Album for United States Postage Stamps, 1951 edition, that I'm not using. This is a SCOTT publication and is mostly back of the book pages that appear gently used. The front of the book, commemorative pages. have some pages where stamps have been removed so there are a few thin areas or hinge remainders.

Would these early album pages be of interest?

Finally got a chance to look in the warehouse.....all the old SCOTT supplements (about 3 cartons) were disposed of a month ago. You can only keep that stuff around for so long!

Still have a couple cartons of older Stanley Gibbons, Lindner and Minkus supplements, but I don't think any of those will be if use to you.
