Recently I inherited my grandfathers stamp collection. It was the kick in the pants to get my collection sorted and catalogued.

The question I have is about the military covers issued from 1969 to present. I have been able to find some info searching on RAF and Royal Engineers but am unable to find and info on the Army and Royal Legion covers.

I have catalogues that go up to about 1995 but have no information after this. Any help pointing me in the right direction for finding information on varieties and sources would be helpful.

Thanks

Remind us what these covers look like by showing us a picture of one of each.

National Army Museum Group 1-5 12 covers each. The signed one really caught my attention.

One thing I wanted to establish was whether these were covers produced in the BFPS series and stocked by the BFPS. I'll check in their catalogue, although that only tells what they last had for sale, rather than whether they produced these. (The catalogue can be downloaded from http://web.archive.org/web/200906290429 ... 270209.pdf)

These are older covers. Buckingham Covers deal with NAM now, although they may not have when yours was produced. They look like Connoisseur Covers, and another company which I can't now remember.

Westminster Collection have done one-offs for RBL, but again, not this one.

Most are fairly common although signed ones are always better than unsigned. Buckingham Covers deal in signed covers.
