Well if you did not know, reading the post above yours, hopefully you will now.

It is not rocket science really.

If you are unable to understand that simple concept, or assist, I'll be pleased to remove you as Moderator and add anyone who does have the will to keep this useful Wiki up to date.

Thanks.

Every image that has been placed on the wiki is on the wiki

Except a hundred or so of mine

They are just at the end and not in the positions within the wiki

This particular thread could be fixed tomorrow

I have busted my butt for the last couple of years getting this up and running, neat and tidy, all in order, even making the quickie wiki on the 5d & have started that for others also.

Then you come along and require that all post that are placed here are to stay here.

Your reason behind this is give the member the acknowledgement that they have contributed to the wiki
although acknowledgement is on every position through out the wiki.

You also asked that they be left so that we will have a back up of images instead of just me having them (just in case I get hit by a bus). This I think is a great idea.
By leaving the post at the end of the thread does not back up anything as the image is not on the board it is in the members photobucket account, deleted or not deleted it is not backed up.

All I am asking is to keep the wiki clean and tidy.

I offered a way around this the last time this came up, that was a single posting thread for all to post to everybody's posts will stay there and the wiki stay's clean.

pilot has kindly volunteered to help tidy up things and place images where they should have been months back.

His images (and others) have been stting on the previous page for THREE MONTHS,which is silly.

All Mods are free to move new posts of images to their correct position, and leave the post where it is, that adds the image here.

Many thanks. 8)

The fact nothing has been moved for 9 months seemed to indicate pretty clearly you did not have the time. Hence someone was appointed who apparently does have the time and the inclination to keep this Wiki up to date.

Enough of this petulant bickering. Email me as 'The Rules' request re Admin decisions, and stop clogging the thread with pointless to and fro - thanks.

GUTTERS and mobbor,

Should either of you decide to sever ties with the wiki, and, God (no, not you, Glen) forbid, Stampboards itself, I for one will be saddened by the loss of your unfailing aid and expertise. Both of you devote your time to assisting others further their knowledge of this great pastime, and all without payment for services rendered!!

Many thanks to pilot for updating these images at long last. 8)

The posting of image stays where it is now, on previous page, and has simply been cut and pasted as well into the correnct 3R52 space, that has been empty for months.

I just spot checked a few, and this below is the perfect format to add them in - many thanks to all for their good work here.

mobbor has been removed as Mod based on his written request, and it seems he did not do any moderating anyway.

Value Tablet: Centre bar of the last E in Pence is joined to that below.

(a) Right Frame[/u] : A hinged frame break 9.00mm below N.E. corner with the inner side being angular and the outer shoulder more rounded. The inner margin is consequently much wider at the hinge point. The right ends of the adjacent lines are thicker or joined for 1.50mm above and 2.50mm below the break.
(b) S.E.Corner : Has a projecting bulbous appearance
(c) Right Value Shield : A small rounded projection 0.75mm below upper right corner of large fig.1
(d) Left Frame : Lower 0.5mm shaved in removing S.W. Corner
(z) Comp Lines : Above Upper Frame - line 0.50mm long level and to left of cross
Below Lower Frame - two small dots 4.25mm from SW corner

What makes you think 4/L53 type A + Type B need to be assessed :?:
Mr Skinner confirmed the type A
Mobbor confirmed the type B
They are both in imprint blocks ,So if you know something that these 2 knowledgeable guys
don't let me know.

Thanks :D

Ash imprint (N over N) showing 4L47 second re-entry Type C and 4L53 second re-entry Type A - perf. 13½ x 12% TWO PENCE surcharge only

INFORMATION
Below is word for word from the SANDY FORBES publication
On your description above Perf 14 only matches STATE 1/2/3 below
which I think you will agree that it is not any of them.

1st State

Normal

2nd State

Deep Rose p14. Mullett.

Crown: The Cross spreads very slightly over to the right.

Comp Marks: Dots at N.W. and S.W. corners.

3rd State

Rose p14. Ash 1st Printing.

Comp Marks: Dots at N.W. and S.W. corners.

Crown: The right half of the Cross is missing.
See also IR/1, IIIR/30, IVL/53.

4th State

Rose and Golden Scarlets p13.5x12.5. Ash 2nd Printing.

Comp Marks: Dots at N.W. and S.W. corners.

Crown: The right half of the Cross is missing.

Left Corner Shading: Very weak shading above the Roo's head and into the N.W. corner.

Right Corner Shading: Very weak shading and the blooms are very white. Shading lines are short in the right scroll area, leaving the white margin wider than normal. Sometimes there is a completely void area between LIA and the wattles.

Emu: Neck and breast whiter than normal.

Roo: Face and ear whiter than normal

Value Tablet: The central bar of the final E in Three is short. In the first E in Halfpence the
two upper arms are fused together.

Crown: The eighth line of shading to the right of the Crown is very weak and sometimes
missing.

White Margin S.E. Corner: The white margin in this area extends as a sharp point into the coloured area and almost to the S.E. Corner

Right Frame: Thinned throughout its length and the lower sections of the white gutter between the two stamps is wider than normal. See also IVL/54.

5th State

Golden Scarlet and Surcharges. Ash 3rd Printing.

White Margin S.E. Corner: The white margin in this area extends as a sharp point into the coloured area and almost to the S.E. Corner

Right Frame: Thinned throughout its length and the lower sections of the white gutter between the two stamps is wider than normal.

Note:
The flaw Crown: The right half of the Cross is missing. Cannot be distinguished from a similar flaw on IIIR/30 and all other flaws must be present to identify this unit 3rd State.

Perf 14 4/L53 Type A Re-Entry.

So to answer your question no I do not have any other information than the above.

Does not match the Forbes states as they have no Perf 14 for State 4

And the ACSC only gives this
Ash imprint (N over N) showing 4L47 first re-entry Type B and 4L53 second re-entry Type A - perfs. 14 and 13½ x 12½
4L53 Second re-entry Revision to to type A

Now these are the only two publications that I have.

This is a wiki and the point of it is to supply information from as many sources as possible your original post of the stamp and Perf 14 4/L53 Type A Re-Entry at the base was the only information I had to work with.

So in a nut shell no I have no more information on your 4/L53
But you seem to have, maybe when you posted your stamp maybe you should have posted that extra information to aid the wiki.

Thank you GUTTERS

Now that you have extra info from someone that helped write the A.C.S.C. you will be able to fix it.

As far as 4/L53 ga type B goes
ACSC states
Duplicated lines above right wattles =My example has.
Weak lines right of LIA to wattles =My example has.
Weak or missing line from 5th pearl to right wattles =My example has.

Perf 14 N over N imprint =My example is.

Plate 1a Mullett imprint. This appears to be an early printing(?) as neither of the units show any of the flaws vide Sandy Forbes checklist.
