I have a small side collection of overprints, which are generally pretty straightforward, but so far I have not been able to locate this one in any catalogue.

The Cartero Rural is self-evident, but the overprint is not.

Looks like a Spanish cival war stamp to me. You need a specialist or specilised catalogue for this as most stamps are not mentioned in the world catalogues.

Postal Benefits charity label.

The inscription at the bottom right of the stamp, "Sin Valor Postal" means "Without Postal validity".

The overprint "Habilitado Para 5c" means "Made good again for 5c" or "Revalued at 5c", thus converting a non-postal stamp into one with postal validity

AskPhil calls these a bogus local issue.

They are not listed in the specialized Edifil (charity issue listings stop in 1941).

The 1960 Galvez lists an unoverprinted set of 12 as a charity issue from 1944.
The 10c blue wasn't part of this set but was issued later in 1945. In 1946, two
stamps from the 1944 set plus the 1945 stamp were overprinted in two types.
The 10c blue was overprinted in three colors for a total of 10 stamps in the
issue. The two types of overprint alternate in the sheet of 100.

Gavin, I've never heard that before. I always thought that these had been revalued, but not for postal purposes. (No Coerreios, for example) - and I've never seen or heard of one actually postally used, though there are some on cover as labels.

I typed "Sin Valor Postal" into google and what do you know ? It brings me here. Found this one rummaging through some worldwide envelopes of loose Stamps. Is this a Charity label ? with a Postmark ?

I think that's not a postal cancel. It reads "Pro-seminario", as the stamp itself.
There are lots of spanish stamps for different purposes, apart from those specifically made to raise funds for the bands of civil war (1936-1939). In this case: the fist one says Benefic Postal Association and the last one Pro Seminario Zaragoza (both "sin valor postal", without postal validity).

Regards
Ernesto
