Looks good from this end. :)

Those perforations, especially on the right side, would be clearer with a dark background.

Yep...you're right. I'll remember to use a black background when posting images.

Thank You. I've always found this particular stamp to be quite appealing.
Especially with the vermillion/orange color.

Banshaboy- you've got it!

Machaggis- almost there

pBase is not a image storage site I'm familiar with but I had a look there and it is possible to load pictures from that site- example below
Image

Just select the image, right click and select image code from properties then cut and paste into the Stampboards window and add the around the URL (as you did above) and it should work as per my example. Not sure why your second didn't work as the coding was fine.

Could it relate to your pbase settings?

We suggest Photobucket but some members do successfully put up images stored on other sites.

Cheers
Margo

Folks for time 1000, please use ONLY photobucket to load pix here.

Heaps of the other dinky, chintzy litttle outfits are totally useless for Bulletin Boards like this, and the images in the 3 posts above are a perfect example. They do NOT work.

We have been here for 5 years, and have about a MILLION images hosted, and we know what works, and what does not.

Photobucket is FREE, simple to follow, and it WORKS.

So let's not try and re-invent the wheel.

Thanks, Admin

Will suggest when posting stamps with perforations to be done on a black background.
Again well done

O.K. - Here is my first try at following instructions. How does it look size wise, resolution. Also how would I move post to a better place/board to ask questions about it ? Can I move post, or do I repost at proper board?
Thanks all,
pat

Pat. Looks fine.

Do not move or delete the image - EVER.

If you have a question to ask about that stamp add the same link to that thread, or start a new one if needs be.

I accidentally made this image in .jpg. I tried it anyway. Is there a way to convert to .img after the fact?

Looks ok to me. :D

It's a .jpg file but you display it using the [img],[/img] tags. Just copy the Photobucket "IMG code" link and paste here.

Nigel,
Thanks for the tip. But I'm getting an error message from Photobucket.

"There was an error tagging your photo.

The tag exceeds the maximum length"

Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Karen,

Sorry, I wasn't clear. You don't need to add any tags as Photobucket does it for you automatically.

If you click on your link:

http://s1189.photobucket.com/albums/z434/kehess/?action=view&current=MICROSCOPE.jpg

Then in the Link box on the right, click on the "IMG Code" and the code next to is should change to "Copied".

Then in your post here, paste the text which Photobucket has copied for you.

You'll see that the tags are already included.

I hope this helps.

Testing - not a stamp, obviously, but I want to test linking to my existing albums and dynamic resizing. Using the preview feature it seems to work well.
