I place stamp in scanner and scan to my hard drive. I then open photobucket and having set it to 800x600 upload it to my album. It aways appears quite small in my album. The effort above was after manipulating it a bit but I am not sure which increased its size. I copy it and then paste into here

What are the settings on your scanner?

Could you scan a large item like a cover and see what happens then.

When you changed the settings in Photobucket to 800 x 600 did you save that setting?

I am playing with my new Signoscope and an old digital camera. I am quite suprised my old 4 megapixel Fuji camera was able to photograph the watermark as well as it did.



In case anybody is wondering, it is a Gibbons Watermark 11, Crown over A, on a Tasmania S.G. 250.

It worked, but try scanning at a higher resolution for best results here.

ilove83080 - if you crop the white outers off, the stamps will each be 20% or so bigger in your image here.

Wow! Posting images is easy. Thank you Stamp Masters for the very clear and concise instructions.

@The Sheriff: Can I crop the photos already uploaded in photobucket or have to do it before uploading to photobucket?

If you crop in photobucket the size of each stamp will be just as small.

If you use the free google PICASA program as I do - or something like that to host the scans, if you crop there, you will get each stamp looking larger in the 800 x 600 space.

Try it and see.

OMG i just upload 125 scans today in photobucket and i think im drained now after scanning some albums..maybe il try that when im energetic again. Thanks.

What a shame they did not affix 2 x 10/- Seahorses, instead of that black thing.

Seriously the Tassie cover looks great Rod .. you might need to choose a far higher Rez for the larger ones as they lose a lot when reduced. 400 DPI or whatever for large ones.

With regard to my photo basket stuff up .

With the help of my computer mentor and sincere friend the stuff up in all of my post's are reinstated, all white blanks with red cross are deleted.

Please can the Sheriff now cancel the light warning given to me and clear my record.
