OK the first number represents points if I am correct, the second number which is wins is that for each round or total wins? between rounds 2 and three I won 8 out of 18 plus for round 1 math has never been my strong suite how do you figure out the numbers?

On another thread I gave a different number and could not edit it, so this is my final choice for points total. I have Collingwood for all season as my pics.

Which is the reason for my question and comment --- there is NO points total for this week.

There is usually only a points total requirement when a special prize is being offered for a given week ... as happened with the offer by PeterS last week.

douglas5102 the first (shown before your name) number is your accumulated score for the rounds to date. The second (shown after your name) number is your score for the round just completed.

As there are only 18 teams, there are a maximum of 9 games that can be played in each round. Should you happen to pick all 9 winners in a round, you receive a bonus of 2 points (per the rules shown on page one of this thread).

So "13 douglas5102 2" means at the end of round 3 you have a total score of 13 (you picked 13 wins from a possible of [9teams x 3rounds] 27. For round 3 you selected 2 winning teams (from a possible of 9).

Thanks for offering that explanation Eric. There will be another Spot Prize donated by Peter S (again, and again thanks to Peter) in Round 6, originally intended for Round 5, but that Round unfortunately will start on a Wednesday, so I am postponing it for a week as I suspect that some members will miss the cutoff for Round 5.

It will NOT be the same question, and will require a completely different answer. So randomly throwing numbers in with weekly tips really does not work. Ever!
