Just a followup note on my experience, and to add my thanks to Norm for his outstanding stewardship of the contest:

I made contact with Mark from New Zealand in pretty quick order and sent his packet on it's way. It took about ~12 days to get there (by rowboat), and he let me know it had arrived, and thank you. Also, that he was sending a little something back. In about four days (his by air), I had a very neat little collection of New Zealand sitting in front of me. Totally unexpected, but very appreciated.

I enjoyed the experience, and hope others did also. I think if/when we do this again, I'll have to up my game, so as not to outdone by the "prize winner".

In keeping with the spirit I am sending them on to the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Society in Denver Colorado to include in its next Silent Auction.

The proceeds from the Society's annual auction help keep this fine organization and its library in business. The Fifth Birthday Prize was a wonderful idea and a fine gesture on your part.
