(NOTE photos taken this evening at 2am and the first 10 covers or so all appear to have large tone patches - not so - just shadows from hands etc when taking pix!) Quality red "Lighthouse" padded Deluxe album (Retail $50) with this wonderful varied collection of 73 covers from an area nearly NEVER offered.
An 'instant' collection, or 73 great ebay lots for the canny seller. A lot of $25 type pieces in here. Antarctica mail is a huge seller, and there NEVER was much Ross about, compared to AAT.
The 1971 real mail cover, with set of the 4 scarce 1967 Defins is in lovely condition and shape, much better than the 2am photo here, and the stamps
OFF cover are $100 in the latest ACS cat. A $A100+ piece on its own most likely.
In addition to that one there are 23 other values of that scarce set on covers here. ACS has
EACH at $20 to $35 OFF cover used. i.e. $500 or so for just those, as soaked OFF cover.
Mostly 1950s to 70s. All manner of flights, special cancels, Dog Sled Mail, Registereds, Helicopter journeys, commercial mail, Aerogramme, signed covers, scarce frankings, and Anniversaries etc.
Light ageing on a few, but many over 50 years old now.
