A good place to start is Postbeeld.com

They list most stamps of the world, with illustrations. They're a dealer, so they have scans and selling prices. Everything is arranged chronologically.

I checked Postbeeld.com. Yes, they are dealers. But not online catalogs as i want to find :( . Catalogs will supply you the years/quanity of stamp issues, furthermore, will help you identify stamps as well.
Please update to me if you have any new ideas,
