I had not noticed that! Actually what I had noticed was that you can make out the handwritten note that Swiss_Martin sent inside this cover that I posted on my Blood and Organ Donation thread:

These have been on my "To do" pile for ages, and I've only just got around to sorting and scanning them. A whole bunch of Singapore stamps in exchange for the used ROC stamps I sent to sin earlier this year:

This long stamp is part of a joint issue between Egypt and Singapore, commemorating significant rivers:

Got a letter from Timbres last week. Inside were some goodies...

A *huge* commercial cover from Argentina with solo use of the 2011 World Blood Donor Day stamp (I couldn't fit the whole thing on my scanner bed ):

Thanks Tim!! Naomi is away at camp for the summer, but I'll put these in her box for when she gets back. She spent a few days between the end of school and the beginning of camp sorting through all her stamps. I'm sure she'll love these, thanks very much!

Got a great package in the mail yesterday from Raz, with a nice organ donation stamp on the cover.

Inside was this Return to Sender envelope from the Book Club Associates:



I wasn't sure why he sent it to me until I looked at the back:





Also inside were these stamps and pieces:





At first I thought they were for my daughter's animal and bird collection! Some great cancels there related to blood donation and TB eradication.

Finally, this peel-and-stick booklet with one of the organ donation stamps still inside:

Here are the stamps that I sent to Maria in return for the animal and WWF stamps for Naomi: some very colourful comic and cartoon stamps from Japan, and a couple of Escher stamps from Sweden.






I have alot of recent used Japan stamps if anyone else is interested in swapping - there are a lot of Japan issues these days, but they are very colourful and quite addictive to collect... It's too bad it got sprayed by the inkjet...there must be a way to get around that!! Some of the covers I get in the mail get sprayed, but others manage to escape...

Also got a packet from drvvr, which had been opened by the Canada Border Services Agency (they put the tape right across the souvenir sheet on the front, luckily it peeled off without leaving any damage). That's the first time I've had something opened by them - no idea what they were looking for.
