Found this info on a little site called Glenbow Museum, The Adames Family.

Correspondence and miscellaneous records. - [ca. 1919-ca. 1941]. - Includes memorabilia from the Second World War: Kinsman Club stamps showing Hitler and the motto "Help lick 'im" inside a card entitled "There'll always be an England".

Still searching.....

The Kinsmen Club is/was a young man's service club in Canada and was similar to Apex in Australia, as well as Round Table and another one or two similar clubs around the world.

I was an Apexian in Melbourne and the retirement age was, and maybe still is, 40 as in the case of other affiliated international clubs.

Many joined Lions, Rotary, etc after 40.

Maybe the sticker was sponsered by The Kinsmen of Canada?

Cheers, Kev.

I did quite a bit of Google search for this and only found one other reference......the stamp was found inside a folder saying "There will always be an England" in an old estate and it's not listed in my Springer's North America Cinderella catalogues.

This was most probably produced by the Kinsmen Club of Canada. I have seen it on at least 2 covers from Canada dated 1940. See this example:

Image

It is listed in Clive Edwards' catalogue of "Patriotic & Propaganda of the British Commonwealth" as (I believe erroneously) originating from New Zealand (catalogue number 1/610), with the note: "This label may have been used elsewhere - details please." So that is the connexion with NZ. But I haven't seen it on a NZ cover.

What a great cover............thanks for posting that.

Some of the other material I later found in the box was also Canadian issue, I believe, so this makes sense.

The assistance is much appreciated.

Hello...I am a new member to this group. I arrived here because I was researching the Kinsmen Services Stamp "Help Lick 'im". I just found one with some papers of my dad's estate. It is uncirculated, still has glue on back. Probably good shape although bottom left corner was folded over when I found it. Would it be worth anything to a collector??
Thanks

Hi Dave:
Welcome to Stampboards.
In my book on Canada cinderella stamps, I distinguish 4 different types of this stamp. Types 1 and 2 look similar except for the lines in Hitler's face. In type 1 the lines are black, whereas in type 2 the lines are black and red. In type 3, the text on the left and right side is missing. Type 4 is a modern facsimile similar to type 1 but with rouletted edges instead of perforated edges. Types 1 and 2 sell for about $7.50. Type 3 I've only seen once, so can't really price it. Type 4 sells for $3. Hope that helps.

Thanks Ron
From what you said, this would be a type 2 with red/black lines in face.
Now all I gotta do is find someone who wants it!
Thanks again!

Hi Dave:
I'm sure there's a cinderella stamp collector out there that would be interested. You might try listing it on eBay. You may be pleasantly surprised.
