Want to apologize for coming off as some sort of a crusader. That was not my intention at all. Everthing has it's time and place. My Hustler subscription ran out a few decades back and I have not been up to renewing it!
It does not amaze or disturb me that humor may be found in many places, but what does is that some di..head can jerk-off on our hobby while trolling for minnows and so few take offense at it.
Granted, he is many thousands of miles away, but distance means nil when it comes to the internet and our children.
This is my last post on this subject, as I have said and done all that I can do. The stamp blog is still there, the content hasn't changed, and it has been reported to Google, so that they can check out any breach of terms & service. Whatever happens, happens! Maybe there will be a warning screen before access is granted, or maybe the site will be de-di..headed.
Without looking at the site concerned, but based on your comments and the fact that it is a blog, I am quite prepared to believe that you may be maligning the blog-owner.
Your expression highlighted above is also offensive, as I am sure that you know what both 'di..head' and 'jerk-off' mean - both are offensive terms which have no right to be in a place where you expect 'our children' to be, ie Stampboards.
As I said above:
Quote:
(I) have google ads on my blog norphil.blogspot.com
Google allows advertising hosts to control what type of ads are shown on their websites. So while I am not averse to having adverts for Gibbons, Royal Mail, sandafayre, rushstamps etc, I can decide not to have 'gambling', 'Get rich quick', Sexual & Reproductive Health, or References to Sex & Sexuality.
Maybe the Romanian blog hasn't tailored his adverts in the way we might like!
That does
not mean that he is the predator. Maybe 'so few take offense' because they have a more open mind and have considered this possibility which you seem to have ignored.
