I hate to see this brilliant thread stagnating....but in about 2 weeks time I am shifting cities for my job....and posting an offer and then mailing it across would be a bit too hectic for me in this fortnight.

As it is, I am planning of mailing across all the items committed till date, before I take a break for about a month and half.

Will be back after that again. Meanwhile hope that this thread will continue in full vigour!! :)

I mailed lighthouses to joelk today, the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington (in case you are a civil rights history buff).

Yes, that was a very memorable day, and an incredible speech. There was a whole section about it in Time magazine last week. But I disgress...Back to stamps!

I asked the postal worker to hand cancel -- no dice at that downtown office. I hope it isn't too splattered.
