Thanks
elcooperativo for posting a new
micropic challenge,
and for the lovely minisheet you offered as an incentive prize.
Congratulations to
Joy Daschaudhuri for identifying the whole
stamp from that one micropic
I think that leaves me to play the role of well-entertained visitor
to this thread, at least for the moment... All good

Answer is basically correct.
The actual stamp was the currency reformation surcharged Índia Portuguêsa 1959
$80 ovpt. on 1953 3T Exposição de Arte Sacra Missionária 1953 Lisboa: Nossa Senhora [Mundifil (ex-Afinsa) 501].

Hello
casmx and fellow
Stampboarders!
I haven't been able to borrow a catalogue to go
searching for the solution to this latest challenge,
and I've been hoping that someone else would
come up with the solution...
Maybe it will turn out that I do manage to borrow a
catalogue before anyone else can solve this one,
but I'm sorry for
casmx that it has been
running for quite a long time.

Aahh
casmx, now you've made it
too easy.
The first day cover was issued by the United Nations
office in Geneva, in
1969.
Artistically, your chosen stamp is by far the most attractive
of the set — gracefully elongated, beautifully highlighted.
Presumably its significance is allegorical — aspiring to a
better world...

productive lifetime.

Good Lord, I got it!
Beautifully engraved 1968 stamp, centered on the theme of children's health (or is it child welfare?) in Greenland. I'm guessing that the extra 10 øre goes towards Children's Health?
Interesting design, the inside of a castle. Obviously the artists are trying to suggest something...

If I may be so bold – in light of Greenlandic kids in the same year that Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated – here goes:
(I feel like this one will be easy for most of you...)

Can I just say that I reread my previous post and realised with shock horror that some might take offence. I never meant it as such!
I wrote that first sentence in complete innocence, then spent some time going through my collection wondering what fits. I was thinking of stamps depicting children, and saw this one. Although now I think of it, the theme of this specific issue relates to something other than children, they just happen to feature.
Believe me when I say that I meant this in no way to be of racist stereotyping or discrimination. That's not how I roll! My mind never went down that path!
If mods prefer, I can do a different stamp... Let me know. Otherwise, that image can remain as your first clue.

Hmmm, I'm not a moderator, but I must say I think you're
worrying unnecessarily
Catweazle. To me your post seems
straightforward and perfectly innocent of any inappropriate
innuendo.
