The Second Edition of this book on Queensland postmarks has just been uploaded onto the Toowoomba Stamp Club Website. Nearly all the changes and additions have been underlined for the reader to easily identify.
The exceptions are the illustrated postmarks and, obviously, the deletions which have been very few.
It is available as a free download and thanks to the Toowoomba Stamp Club for allowing us to use their website. The link to the Club website is below, so have a look around before going to the publications tab to download the book
This update has been nearly three years since the first edition, so I expect the third edition will be available in about the same timeframe, depending on the number of changes.
So enjoy this edition of "Queensland Steel Datestamps - Commonwealth Period"

Thankyou Rod. This one is unlisted in our reference work.
I will give it a cursory rating of R to begin with.
Value would be at least double if it is "tied".
Any senders name on the back, Rod?

An excellent find Chris. I have seen a lot of type 1 Woolloongabba postmarks but not one in blue.

Clicking the link gave me a "This site can’t be reached" message. However, I was able to archive the PDF file. Here's the link so that the info will be preserved despite any possible link rot:

Similar message in Microsoft Edge and Chrome.
My first check was with Edge and now I have checked with Firefox. No problems with either but then again I am in Australia. Perhaps it's some sort of external problem.

External to sunny Queensland because I am having the same issue in cold & rainy Melbourne on Google Chrome.

HalfpennyYellow provides the pdf link (20MB). See if that works Brad if you haven't already downloaded it.

I assume that you have contacted David Price about this.

I cannot find any issue. I have logged on from my home computer using chrome, edge and explorer no problem. My son is in Venice using a US based mobile and can log on, my sister is in melbourne and successfully logged on using a landline. I have just logged on thru the work computer with no problem. All of the above has been via searching for the site on the web.
I have logged on from iPad and iPhone no problem. I have clicked on the link in the supplied error message on the iPad and logged on successfully
I will contact the person who runs the website and see if he can find an issue. Otherwise I can only suggest the problem is at your end

Something odd is going on and neither of us is knowledgable enough to resolve it.
And it is not limited to one person. Other also have this issue.
I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - no problem to download at 10:16 pm Mountain time on Thursday!
From Malta I'm unable to access any of the Toowoomba Stamp Club website (not just the PDF). When I click on the link the following comes up:
This site can’t be reached www.toowoombastampclub.org’s server IP address could not be found.
Search Google for toowoomba stamp club org images qsd2
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
However, oddly enough, when I tried archiving the link (just add web.archive.org/save/ before the URL) I was able to do so. This suggests that the website is accessible from San Francisco, where the Internet Archive servers are presumably located.

Either an ERD or LRD for Cairns, but first identifying the correct entry in Queensland Steel Datestamps.
Dated 5 May 77 and its measurements match Smithies type 210. I therefore assume type 5s(i) should actually read 5st(i), or are the details for 5st and 5s(i) swapped arround?
I have just re measured my copy of 5st. Change Dell & Price measurements to 14.5, 15, 30.5.
The 220 in Smithies is not a postmark with time. It is one of the 5s types. Regards,Terry Dell.

Thankyou Peter. Both the Cairns code 3 and the Tolga postmarks are earlier dates.
What a great cover. Looks exactly like how a damaged in transit cover should! Scarce Darlinghurst handstamp.

One to add to the manuscript listing. MOORLAND. Dated later than the current MOORLANDS listing. A PPA listing.

Dell & Price deals with Commonwealth period Browny. We leave the state period to Bernie Manning.

Even though it is only the second date recorded my preliminary rating would be R.
This would change over time if paids become more popular.
