I bought the book a couple of years ago at an Ephemera fair in London because I wanted to read the extensive notes regarding how Registered Mail should be handled (p30-45).
During the Covid “Lockdown” I re-discovered the book buried in my stamp room. Subsequently every time I dip into its pages I find something fascinating, for example I didn’t know that the special boxes for Late Fee Paid mail were originally called “Extra Stamp Box” (p.16).
In posting the “Rules” here I hope other postal history collectors may find some useful info, perhaps to use when writing up a cover.
If the subject matter isn’t relevant to your collecting interests I hope you will still find something of interest.
