Mike, I've moved your topic from the Roll Call forum to this forum as it's the appropriate place for it.

Borckenhagen,

I most definitely will. I am a South African currently working in Europe at the moment and having grownup in the OFS, I feel it is a must. In addition, the OFS is one of my collecting areas.

Bought these from an old Estate formed by a long dead relative who lived there. Never been on the stamp market before. Musty and dusty overall after 130 years in an attic, but a handy group of 24 pieces. All here -

https://www.stampboards.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=94604

Mostly overprinted postcards, mint and used, and a Boer War Censored cover.

I do not have a catalogue on these, but this handy website says of the Die 1 overprint in mid 1889, less than 10 used exist and here we have TWO of them it appears? Clear mid 1889 dates, and clearly commercial used

No idea what kind of value anything has of which under 10 are recorded from OFS? So whether this lot is worth $100 or $500, or somewhere in between, I really have no idea - hopefully someone can add some input?
