Can someone ID the date and country of this Christmas label?

We all have and handle these from time to time. "Back of book", Revenues, "Cinderellas", duty stamps and all kinds of other stamp like labels. Discuss them all HERE!

I found a sheet of this label in a large accumulation of mostly souvenir sheets and covers.
Thanks

Hi,

The text at the top looks like Armenian to me and from the style I'd guess these were designed and printed in the US or Canada.

.
I wonder if the first two words at the top represent "New York" ?

I don't known any Armenian so this is just a guess based on trying to transcribe the letters one by one.

I realise I may be completely on the wrong track. ;)

I was thinking the same. The fact that it includes also English means that it should be from diaspora rather that the country of origin of the people. The design and printing could be misleading as these could also be 'donation' to people in diaspora.

The last word is "hospital". Still working on the rest.
Always on the lookout for Australian pre decimal First Day Covers.
