About 67 East German covers here, including first day of issue covers (FDCs) from the Deutsche Demokratische Republik before the wall came down. 1950s – 1970s era mostly at a quick glance. A fascinating period of postal history with some interesting postal marks to boot, and the odd censor marking, most often posted from there to here in Australia.
Ex-dealer’s stock apparently, so all come in sturdy individual archival type pockets. Many are LARGER type with minisheets, so would do well housed in a full hagner sheet in your album. Most are priced at $2–$9 each so would also do nicely if listed separately on eBay if you want to recoup some of your hard earned cash – but otherwise a lovely collection if kept together!
Also included is a mixed collection of stamps on old album leaves, a lucky dip selection of Gawd knows what in a paper bag (I didn’t check, hah) and two spare black hagner sheets. Looks like they’ve been untouched for years… perhaps decades?
Covers and stamps – the lot for AUD$175 with FREE global postage to your door. Payment can be made via Paypal or bank deposit. Feel free to PM me with any questions.
Pictures to come in multiple posts… here goes!
