Aust 6d brown 'BROKEN LEG KANGAROO' in Mint pair with normal $A99
THE most famous and iconic of all our stamp plate varieties. EVER.
I hate ''fly speck'' varieties, and always say that if you can’t see a variety from a yard away, it barely matters. THIS guy proves the rule!
As you will know if you have seen others offered, near ALL copies are horribly badly centred on TWO sides, as the error occurred on top right stamp of the right pane - Left Pane, R 1, stamp 6. The perf head alignment was a 1.5mm out for this issue, so as printer always 'aimed' the comb perf at top left corner which are always well centred, and hence right across this side, the far side top RH corner of sheet, they near all have the horrid centering. I’ve sold top rows of the pane before that shows this minor graduation perfectly.
THE most famous and best known error on the entire Kangaroo series. Mint hinged original gum - mostly seen as SINGLES so in pair is a lovely pick-up. Far better than usual perfs found of this stamp, which near always are very poorly punched ''fluffy'' and ''woolly'' as readers will know.
SG 73/73a. ACSC 21(3) $290.
This was Arthur Gray's used 6d blue with identical centering - that sold for $A600 - 14 years back.

And remember - I use a PAPER based credit card transaction system as I am too lazy to get a machine. In general, you will almost certainly be charged weeks after you get the goods, as I do such boring things in large batches "when I get time". 8)
