Turtle and Tortoise Stamp collecting

https://sites.google.com/site/turtlestampcollecting/home

This website was created in 2012 by Joe Leven. It is intended to be a partial successor website to the late Don Riemer's site, A World Wide List of Turtles and Tortoises on Stamps (also listed in this index). A lot of descriptive material is copied directly from Don's site. With pictures and Scott catalogue numbers.

Worldwide; current.

New issues; only the latest ones shown.

Not sure this has been mentioned, it's apparently worlds largest stamp website, listing all new issue stamps fully illustrated.
Very user-friendly and easy to navigate.

Enjoy.

Scott's world stamps catalogue; 1916

As Kimmo suggest me, I share this information in this thread

If you have the curiosity to compare catalogues, it's possible to download a Scott's world stamps catalogue of 1916 under Creative Commons license.

The same project "archive.org" let us download other old stamp's catalogues:

[My apologies if these have been referenced before.]

On the Premier postal auction website there are two interesting resources for the specialist.

(1) A flaw finder for the Bi-colour Kangaroo issues, covering Vignette and Duty plate varieties for all denominations by paper-type.

It is relatively easy to use and identifies more flaws than shown in the standard ASCS (but with less detail than shown, say, in the 5 shilling Wiki on this site). It also contains better illustrations, essential if you want to know the differences between a "Ewe-faced" Kangaroo, a "Weeping" Kangaroo, a "Rat-faced" Kangaroo and a "Muzzled" Kangaroo. No source is given.

https://www.premierpostal.com/cgi-bin/wsProd.sh/flawfinder.p

(2) Details of Victorian post offices, including images of date stamps, etc. Again, no sources provided, but presumably the experts know where the information has come from.

See here, it's a project to create an electronic version based on Chuchin's catalogue of zemstvo stamps - http://mirmarok.ru/prim/view_article/968/
It's in Russian only, and the navigation may seem not so convenient.
Besides, I can say nothing as to its completeness :(
Anyway, it may be of some help.

I don't know of any online catalogs for Esperanto stamps/labels. https://alphabetilately.org/Esperanto has a website with lots of information on them. There are/were catalogs published in the past such as
POŜKATALOGO DE LA ESPERANTAJ POROKAZAJ GLUMARKOJ by Josef Takacs pub. 1934 and is available on the web as a photocopy reprint for $9.00+ US. It stops at 1934 as Hitler came to power in1933. Takacs along with many Esperanto speakers were sent to the concentration camps along with the Jews and others, and was shot in 1944. Balasz published a catalog of Hungarian stamps that has about a dozen pages devoted to Esperanto issues. The PRC (China) Esperanto Division has published a couple of catalogs in the past, but I believe these only covered postal issues. There are several other catalogs I see referenced, and I am currently researching them - anyone with information on these please post a reply. Esperanto labels number in the thousands, and do a brisk trade on the internet. I have a "virtual" collection that I enjoy as I would have to be a millionaire to afford them all.
