Post by Rigs »

.
For those interested, just noticed that the infamous 2020 error yearbook appears to be sold out on OZ Post's website.

No idea if this is any indication of stock, but I received the Executive Edition on Friday the 23rd July, and it was numbered 260/6500. If that is an indication, it means there are plenty left, but I am guessing I just got lucky with a low-ish number...

I don't think it does as copies I have are numbered higher.

Just counting myself lucky then! The Executive also had the error stamp, I should note. Definitely jarring to see in person after first seeing it in one of Glen's newsletters.

I too have one in the higher numbers. Sounds like they just grabbed one from wherever on the pile before sending them out.

Sold out, mmmm, lets think about the numerous copies in official Post Offices & LPOs.

I have yet to see an outlet that does not have them on the top shelf on public display.

The real story is if the major investigation report on why the error occurred will ever be made public. Rest assured there was a major investigation.

Yes, 'unavailable' may not mean sold out.

But that's an interesting comment. You had to ask at the counter for them in Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Kempsey NSW, and for all I know they may still be available over the counter, just not online.

None on display.

Plenty available on scambay.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but it feels like vandalism every time I see the individual pages/sheetlets offered for sale over there. I suppose the error is one thing, but the standard pages just feels wrong to me.

I wonder if SG et al are going to list these separately? I know they've taken a pass on the yearbook-only souvenir sheets in the past (or at least I've never been able to find those listed).

The 2020 Executive edition is still available, and it is September 2021.
