Great place for a touch of Bog Snorkelling.Rigs wrote: ↑12 Aug 2021 04:47.OldDuffer1 wrote: ↑12 Aug 2021 02:46This is an Australian desert- lots of lovely sand!
Congratulations, that is on topic.
But as you wish to include interior landscapes, this is a British bog - lots of lovely bog!
(Something to wallow in when you tire of the tidal mudflats you call 'sandy beaches', or perhaps a swimming hole for Team GB in their hunt for Olympic Bronze?)
The Rude Health World Bog Snorkelling Championships were held on Sunday, August 25th, 2019. On a beautiful, hot day 175 people entered to bog snorkel the 60-yard bog twice. The World Champion, Neil Rutter was once again attempting to beat his world record, which is 1 minute 18.83 seconds. There were competitors from all the world making it once again an international competition.
