Several days ago, on April 14, 2022, French Polynesia issued a stamp and SS to mart 140th anniversary death of Charles Darwin. It shows Darwin in front of a yellow and red Banana bunches. I still don't have it (I collect Darwin stamps).

Just noticed this cute fortune teller is sitting under a Banana tree!!
Designed by Chamnane Prisayane, engraved by Didier Guedron and issued as se-tenant by the Kingdom of Laos on April 14, 1975, to celebrate the Lao New Year of the Rabbit:

I was just mounting these stamps today when I realized that there were bananas lurking in the background. Apparently ripe bananas are good food for lorikeets!

This is the third value in the 1971 Primary Industries set from PNG, and you can see two big green bunches, in the background. Cheers, Tod. :)

In 1907, a long set of definitive stamps, contains three different designs, was issued for Moyen Congo. Later, these stamps were overprinted for use in different colonies. One of the designs has Banana trees and fruits:
