What year is the latest Stanley Gibbons Simplified Commonwealth catalog

Post by Rog »

The most recent one I have found is 2010, but after fourteen years surely there must be a more recent one?

They probably merged all that into the 6 volume 'Stamps Of The World' set.

I cannot recall ever seeing a simplified Commonwealth actually. :D

The most recent one seems to be the Fifth Edition published in december 2013.

I have a 2007 one. I think you may be right, they merged them. If 2013 was the last one, it seems they gave up on it.

Oh well.

Forgive my ignorance, but is this not a simplified British Commonwealth catalogue?

Is that what you're after? The picture I posted above is the latest 2024 one, but they come out each year which makes me think you're talking about something else entirely. What am I missing here?

It's simplified enough for my needs, but if I ever need more details, then I can get the individual volumes for each different Commonwealth country.

No that's the 'normal' one. I already have it, I get one each year.

The simplified one is just that...simplified.

Also, the simplified one does not stop at 1970, which is why I want one - to price modern material.

I suppose contacting Gibbons was out of the question, given their record?

If you asked ebay their AI bots from Bangladesh will have come back and said -

'These Catalogues are not forgeries - we have determined this using our AI Intelligence. Have a nice day.'

Damn sorry, I meant Stanley Gibbons

But even so, Gibbons/Baldwins do have a poor record of responding to emails from me - lately, I have sent four or five emails with no response.

:D  ;)

I noted many ebay "feedbacks" beeing so overly enthusiastic looking like created by A"I".
No real person would create such exaggerated shmaltz for feedbacks.
Perhaps sh*ll b*dding b*ts?
