These are the clues (at least one is right):
1. Austria.
2. Art.
3. 2000.
To try to generate more participants, the person who guesses will win the stamp and this beautiful mini sheet:
Looking for used stamps and postcards on board games, except chess (checkers, dominos, go game, backgammon), traditional children's games (hopscotch, kites, spinning top, hide and seek, hoops), traditional games of adults (traditional wrestlings, bowls, petanque...) and computer or video games
Congratulations, Joy Daschaudhuri! You have guessed the stamp only with an image. Please, send me a PM with your address.

The actual stamp was the currency reformation surcharged Índia Portuguêsa 1959 $80 ovpt. on 1953 3T Exposição de Arte Sacra Missionária 1953 Lisboa: Nossa Senhora [Mundifil (ex-Afinsa) 501].
I am really very sorry for the long delay, it was a very long time. I am away from my stamps but I hope to be back at the end of next week (and will try to make up for this with some gift... )
Welcome backmari, and thanks for the mysterious animal
miniature/vignette... I'm guessing that it will turn out to be
in the category "art", but so far I don't recognise it at all...
I haven't been able to borrow a catalogue to go
searching for the solution to this latest challenge,
and I've been hoping that someone else would
come up with the solution...
Maybe it will turn out that I do manage to borrow a
catalogue before anyone else can solve this one,
but I'm sorry for casmx that it has been
running for quite a long time.
Aahh casmx, now you've made it too easy.
The first day cover was issued by the United Nations
office in Geneva, in 1969.
Artistically, your chosen stamp is by far the most attractive
of the set — gracefully elongated, beautifully highlighted.
Presumably its significance is allegorical — aspiring to a
better world...
The stamp shown belongs to at least one of the following
categories, represented by the previous challenge, namely:
1) United Nations;
2) Issued 1968-69;
3) Theme: Art
Still no solutions/identifications posted.
As promised, here is the next wider view:

The latest image is almost a "give away"! If no-one comes up with
the correct identification during the next 12 hours, I will supply a
verbal clue rather than a larger picture.
The artwork for the mystery stamp was produced by a famous engraver
who produced many stamps for Scandinavian countries during his very
productive lifetime.
Beautifully engraved 1968 stamp, centered on the theme of children's health (or is it child welfare?) in Greenland. I'm guessing that the extra 10 øre goes towards Children's Health?
Interesting design, the inside of a castle. Obviously the artists are trying to suggest something...
Can I just say that I reread my previous post and realised with shock horror that some might take offence. I never meant it as such!
I wrote that first sentence in complete innocence, then spent some time going through my collection wondering what fits. I was thinking of stamps depicting children, and saw this one. Although now I think of it, the theme of this specific issue relates to something other than children, they just happen to feature.
Believe me when I say that I meant this in no way to be of racist stereotyping or discrimination. That's not how I roll! My mind never went down that path!
If mods prefer, I can do a different stamp... Let me know. Otherwise, that image can remain as your first clue.
Hmmm, I'm not a moderator, but I must say I think you're
worrying unnecessarily Catweazle. To me your post seems
straightforward and perfectly innocent of any inappropriate
innuendo.
