Great thread Ben, and a popular vote. Good to see the younger members of the board starting popular new threads. :!:
Ben Cooper and Glen 17-3-22.jpg

Catweazle (left) and Glen shown downing a pint of imported draft Guinness in Flinders Street Melbourne 3 months back, as it was St Patrick's Day, and we both ended up with a free Guinness cap as well. :D

Many thanks to Ben, Catweazle who kindly met us at our airport hotel, and drove us to the MCG - full story here -

https://www.stampboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=98698

Have not caught up with him for many years. Scored an entry ticket, and a huge Virgin Airlines mega goodie bag for him as well. 8-)

A great game - we were just 3 of the 72,000 fans.

June has only 30 days, which means that it's the middle of the month and we still don't have a single nomination for this month.

I am sure that there are threads that deserve to be nominated for the month of June. So, Stampboarders think, look and nominate member's threads for June!!! :D

I would like to nominate lesbootman for this thread

Guess the location of the picture on this postcard....#2.

He started this thread in April last year and already we are onto thread #2 due to its popularity as the initial thread had over 50,000 posts.

Four very worth nominations and congrats to Rod in Canada for winning.

Highly obscure subject, and 700 posts of image heavy research on it, likely not possible apart from a global venue like this.

Let's get some JULY nominations in please folks. :)

Hi BigSaint,

I think you were a little late with your July nomination. When I posted the question, "Are there any other nominations for July?" it was almost 6:00 PM here in Canada on July 31st. So, it was already August 1st in Australia when you made your post.

Sorry about that! :(

However, you can nominate Waffle for August if you wish. :)

You have done it before as well.

To stop wasting more Admin time going forward, we have just tweaked the rules to preclude this.
