Could you be a bit more descriptive please? All I see is a title made up of abbreviations followed by a request that says the same as the title.

Are you saying you would like worldwide stamps and FDCs featuring space and the Cosmos? Does that include countries like UAE and Poland with the big stamps?

Ok......I'll take up the challenge you've presented here........keeping in mind that this board is a representation of over 100 countries, with many members using English as their second language to communicate, and not using or caring about SCOTT............

WW = worldwide
MNH = mint, never hinged
FDC = First Day Cover
MCs = MaxiCards
Space/Cosmos = the theme you are interested in
OLD issues: 1/3 SCOTT. = you are willing to pay one third of the SCOTT catalogue value in US$ for some undefined issues and you are not sure what you would offer for other things someone might offer to you - OLD being anything that is more that 1 year from date of issue? or 10 years, or 40 years?

Does that seem about right?

Your post about the ANGOLA issues you were interested in was better with information the members require to be interested and helpful. The above guessing game with no real details is far less likely to get any response (other than the type you've received so far). Any specifics you can add to your request for "Wanted to Buy" with the understanding that many here use Stanley Gibbons or Michel catalogues, and don't have access to SCOTT, will most likely get far more success for you.

As can be seen from the scan, previous owner apparently used tape on the envelope so it is stained. Sorry. The USS Ticonderoga is the main ship responsible for recovery in the Pacific. Timbres

I noticed that you are from Portugal. That's were the gross of my collection comes from. It's curious, that although l collect world wide stamps, Space/Cosmos is the only topic l care about (as far as mint never hinged concerns ) . I do collect also ships and maps, but these preferably used.

I wonder if you have space stamps to trade. I can offer you in exchange Portuguese mint stamps (most light hinged ) up to the 70's, or used classic stamps.

I buy and sell stamps both on Portuguese Miau and ebay. On both, l use the same username that l use here: tinobotafogo. I have some auctions on Miau right now.

I have a lot of FDC's mostly from Apollo Missions. They were passed down from my grandfather who worked at Kennedy Space Center. Not even sure what I have yet, we are just venturing out into the what we have and what we want to sell stage.

Try to find a copy of "Astrophil 1987," believed to be the final edition. It is in German, but is well-illustrated and very logically laid out, by program and flight. The prices are thoroughly out of date, but it also shows which specific covers were premium then, and presumably now. When most (say) Apollo 8 covers were 10 to 15 marks, and one was 125 marks, then you know.

I believe Doug is referring to Deutschmarks, the German currency before the Euro, commonly shortened to marks.

And for any North Americans who stumble on this and are confused, the "Continental" way of expressing numbers is to reverse the comma and period. Thus, an "American" $123,456.78 becomes a "European" "$123.456.78"

The post above is thus saying "1 EUR = 1.95583 DM"

(Speaking of numbers, you should see the confusion that is thrown up by the European method of handwritten "9" that look like a lower-case "g")

Hello, I have this Romanian booklet (called philatelic album) with special block of limited edition numbered in red and first day of issue postmark imprinted in gold foil. The content is MNH and of high quality.

This is how Romania commemorated the 50th anniversary of the first man’s flight in space (Yuri Gagarin), the 30th anniversary of the first Romanian’s flight in space (Dumitru Prunariu) and the 50th anniversary of the first session of COPUOS (UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space).
